Search below for the appropriate form to apply for or renew a business tax receipt. To submit an application, download the PDF file to your device, complete the fillable fields, save, and submit per the submission instructions in the application. For applications that are emailed, City staff will contact you within one business day to collect payment for any applicable fees. Failure to make contact within two business days may result in the application not being processed.
The following applications must be submitted to the St. Petersburg Police Department at 1301 1st Ave. N. St. Petersburg, FL 33705.
Please be advised that the issuance of a Business Tax Receipt by the City does not change the responsibility or obligation of any person to comply with any and all applicable local, state, and federal laws. The Business Tax Receipt or gaming machine sticker does not allow machines to be used for gambling purposes. Any machine used for gambling purposes under state law without a license from the State of Florida may subject the owner or operator of such machine, or the owner or operator of the premises at which such machine is located to criminal or civil penalties.
